About the Course

About the Program of Intelligence and Humanities on Practice and Innovation

Considering that culture as soft power and cross discipline integration are the key to the prosperity of our country, the College of Liberal Arts has put great efforts into the promotion of the Program of Intelligence and Humanities on Practice and Innovation.

The College has integrated all the five professions of the College and created nearly 100 courses for this program. From beginner to advanced levels (including courses of practical training), the courses range from Creative Sinology, Cultural Observation, Innovative Publication, Film and Television Communication, and Digital Marketing (visual arts included).

This program is available to all the students of the University, and its aim is to enhance their skills and to make them competent for their jobs in the future.

Curriculum Mapping

Starting from 2023, students, who were the first or the first runner up in business incubating competitions held inside or outside schools, may apply for credit waivers for the internship program (2 credits).

The course provides five major disciplines stated as follows. Students are advised to systematically enroll in the related disciplines.

1. Multiple Means of Expression
2. Cultural Review
3. Data Analytics in Digital Humanities
4. Interdisciplinary Narrative,
5. Digital Content

Credits regulations

Required credits: 16 in total

  1. Foundation course on cultural and creative industries: 4 credits
    Compulsory: 2 credits
    Elective: 2 credits
     
  2. Advance course on related disciplines:
    Elective: 8  credits
     
  3. Internship program:
    Elective: 4 credits
